Growing Practices :  Plants indigenous to the area are harvested from the wild, away from chemical fertilizers and pesticides.

Properties :  Analgesic, antiseptic, expectorant, deodorant, rubifacient, stimulant (Battaglia, 2003)         Please refer to the Glossary for terms which may be new to you.

Uses / Benefits : Helps relieve muscular and joint pain related to arthritis. Calming, helps relieve stress. Beneficial in the treatment of asthma, recommended for catarrhal (mucus producing) conditions of the respiratory tract.   Also used for making natural perfumes. 

Fragrant influences:  Calming, mood uplifting, improves mental and spiritual clarity, promotes communication.

Modes of Administration :    Topical :    massage, compress, ointments and balms      Inhalation: direct inhalation, diffuser, oil vaporizer

Safety :  Silver Fir essential oil can cause skin sensitization if the oil has oxidized.
