Plant description : Botanical family : Umbelliferae or Apiaceae Sweet fennel is a perennial plant native to the Mediterranean. It grows to a height of 6 feet and produces feathery green leaves and golden umbels of flowers.

Uses / Benefits : Recommended for asthma, relieves wheezing, helpful for decreasing chest congestion. Helps to eliminate toxins with its lymphatic decongestant properties. Improves digestion and relieves flatulence. Diuretic and urinary tract antiseptic. Recommended to help regulate the menstrual cycle, helps relieve menstrual discomfort, increases lactation. Beneficial for oily, dull or mature skin.
