Pure, therapeutic Lemon Verbena Distillate Water

Distillate Waters are also referred to as Hydrosols or Floral Waters and are the by-product of distillation in the manufacture of essential oils. Valuable plant compounds left behind in the distillation process are available in the distillate waters.  TIMELESS 100% pure, therapeutic Distillate Waters are hand poured for quality assurance, and now packed with Nitrogen and Argon to promote freshness.  We recommend refrigeration for all Distillate Waters.

Botanical name : Lippia citriodora, Aloysia triphylla, Aloysia citriodora

Regions of production : Morocco, France

Growing Practice : Cultivated without the use of chemical fertilizers or pesticides.

pH : 5.2 - 5.5

Aroma : Sweet, fresh, lemony, but without the sharpness of citrus

Properties : Anti-anxiety, anti-inflammatory, astringent, antiviral, calming, digestive, endocrine stimulant, sedative, tonic. Lemon Verbena is a highly energetic Distillate, generating extraordinary effects when combined with vibrational healing techniques.

Blends well with : Clary Sage, Geranium, German Chamomile, Roman Chamomile, Rose

Uses

Uses : Clarifier for normal and combination skin. Combine with Cistus (Rock Rose), Cornflower or Frankincense to reduce pore size and refine skin texture. Makes a good aftershave - use alone or combined with Calamus Root, Frankincense, Lavender, Peppermint or Sandalwood. May be used as a body spray, or in making natural perfumes.

Beneficial in the prevention and treatment of colds and flu - use daily as mouthwash or nasal spray during flu and cold season. Appetite stimulant. May be used in making sweets, desserts and beverages.

Reduces anxiety, stage fright and fears; helps increase confidence and self esteem. Sedative. For relaxation when mental focus is required, combine with Neroli or Cistus (Rock Rose).

Anti-inflammatory effects on mucous membranes, especially the nose and mouth. Use as a mouthwash or compress after dental procedures. For tooth extraction or severe swelling, combine with Helichrysm. For bleeding, combine with Cistus (Rock Rose). May be used routinely as a mouthwash or nasal spray.
