Plant description : Botanical family: Anacardiaceae
Mango is a tall tropical evergreen tree that grows to heights of 100 – 130 feet. It produces leaves which are orange at first, but dark green at maturity. Its small, white, sweet smelling flowers develop into large, juicy sweet fruits with a single large seed, or kernel. The trees are grown primarily for their edible fruit, and the kernels are pressed for butter.

Characteristics : Solid at room temperature, this butter melts and absorbs readily on the skin. It has a creamy texture, off white color, and mild sweet odor.
