Sweet fennel is a perennial plant native to the Mediterranean. It grows to a height of 6 feet and produces feathery green leaves and golden umbels of flowers.

History / Fun Facts

The ancient Greeks believed that eating sweet fennel seeds would invoke strength, courage and longevity. They also discovered fennel's value to help control weight, and used it as they prepared for the Olympic Games.

Diuretic and urinary tract antiseptic. Recommended to help regulate the menstrual cycle, helps relieve menstrual discomfort, increases lactation. Beneficial for oily, dull or mature skin.
